I am absolutely convinced the best candidate is Gavin Newsom, governor of Cali.
The problem with VPs is that they're usually considered a "stooge" to the sitting president and a continuation candidate. It's like if the PM resigns and the Chancellor steps in, you consider them one and the same.
So Trump can just continue with a similar rhetoric against Harris as he had against Biden and have similar results. As I have said on here previously, Harris is even further behind in the polls than Biden was, so she's got a mighty job on her hands if she wins the nomination.
I think that's a formality btw, Biden shouldn't have endorsed anyone.
Have a friend in San Clemente who is a massive Trump supporter and hates Newsom with a passion, so for that reason I think he’d make a good candidate

And I agree about Biden endorsing Harris, it’s probably going to be to her detriment that.
She seems like the obvious candidate now, but I wouldn’t rule out the Dems throwing a curve ball in there to trip the GOP up.
