How are Labour doing after their first 12 months

Will they even bother in every seat? Imagine being the **** knocking on doors in some dross part of Liverpool asking people if they’ll vote Tory. They’d be better chucking resources at seats it wouldn’t be a waste in and that’s before thinking about having to vet candidates quickly after all those Reform nutters turned out to shock horror have racist tweets.

Does that happen for major parties where they don't put up candidates in a contituency?

You say that about Reform but imagine the absolute state of those this version of the Tory party will be recruiting given the way the Party's going. Different clones of Gullis and Braverman ffs.

I guess there’s nothing obliging them to thought they traditionally would as would Labour except in some of Northern Ireland. Just think for the hassle, cost and inevitable embarrassment when someone has to drop out because it turned out they had a late night Twitter rant at Dianne Abbott in 2014 they’re better off not bothering.

2019 Con and Lab were everywhere in England, Scotland and Wales. Lib Dems weren’t far off and had pacts in some seats and Greens had about 500. Those lost deposits add up.

Surely the down side of that is if tories don't stand, those that would vote for them, might vote for the third party, and instead of the vote being split by tory and any third party, they could all go in the one pot - I can see how someone like Reform might try and manipulate that. Not that it would make any difference to the end result of the GE.

They'll probably not field in constituencies where Labour or LibDems already have huge majorities and polling data suggests it's not going to change. So parties like Reform won't really benefit.

Except if they're still picking up 10% of the vote in those constituencies due to Tory absence they can crow about it as some sort of progress?

I’m talking proper leftie places. The sort where Labour won easily in 2019. Drek parts of London, Merseyside, Sunderland. I hope they do find someone willing to stand- The Sensible Party may even have a candidate willing to step in.

I generally do a postal vote, what I like about that I've found it stops candidates pestering you. I'll get the leaflet drops but that will be about it, hopefully. Although one time I didn't get round to posting it, so took it to the voting station and handed it in. I'm terrible for posting stuff lol.

Hold on, how does that stop them pestering? Do they get to know so stop the door knocks.

Tbh I'm quite looking forward them coming round. It's one of those little pleasures I can tell them exactly what I think of them before telling them to go fck themselves. I'll still vote for one of them, I just won't give them the satisfaction of knowing beforehand <laugh>

Worth hanging about outside a polling station for a bit on election day just in case someone sets themselves on fire in protest against Starmer.

I was wondering if they know the addresses that postal vote, or they have access to the register on polling day?

The frog faced cut is just repulsive. He is part of the problem along with Tice, Anderson and Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon(Tommy Robinson)

who can take any of those gammons seriously. Robinson even had members of the EDL up for child porn offences but wants to focus on brown people and not white who do wrong.

The rhetoric from all sides is going to get a lot worse now as it works. Between Farage’s lot and Galloway’s lot it’ll be a cesspit on election day. Expect there to be trouble at a lot of polling stations.

Going to postal vote if I can sign up. Polling station is less than half a mile away, but I like the piss it boiled when the votes for London Mayor were counted/claimed postal fraud was the reason he won.

He won't be standing in this election, not even sure he's campaigning, probably belongs in the knessett.

He said he is focusing g his energy on the US election I believe? That he is needed there!!

must be worried about the bloke dressed as a dolphin/count bin face. At least tice has finally found the balls to stand for election, the millionaire from the Isle of Wight has picked Boston and Skegness.
