Yeah, everything is broken, we know. 14 years of comedy Tory government caused that, with Brexit and Covid as the cherries on the turd.
My point was, judges have to go by the law, regardless of what suits the prevailing narrative set by the dishonest media. As for lies vs the truth, when you have right wing media and Russian bots “flooding the zone with ****”*, good luck working that out. *One from the Steve Bannon playbook
No one even suggested they didn't have to go by the law - maybe you are not aware and should not be shy of asking questions instead of chucking comments about. This is not the first time it has been to court, probably at least three times by now (not including criminal cases)... How about the Labour Party and Essex Council (or whoever) actually meeting up and working together so it don't have to go through the courts, how about solutions for a change rather than more ****ing problems. Sorry mate you might get away with this on GC but you can't keep hiding behind the Twatter and Russian bots taglines. I was alluding to people actually working together for a change, to find solutions, which as I said has to be a damn sight cheaper than more courts, more cops, more security and more cost. It's seems you are the one obsessed with Twitter because none of my thoughts are from there, I'd at least seek to see if there was a solution, if not fair enough, but at least try to come up with ideas rather than constantly dismissing people.
Fair enough. Well we've had Labour with bantz from the touchline for 14 years, I should have known better than to trust the ****ers to have real solutions. This hotel is a nightmare, it's like a four way pingpong by the government, the local authority, the courts and the hotel owners.
Not to forget Private Pensions were previously robbed by Brown to fund Blairs disastrous reign as Prime Minister Or forget that Blair started the mass immigration and appointed a lawyers firm to process them which financialy benefited...................his wife To be fair this Government as bad as it is still has a way to go before it beats Blairs Government for incompetence and corruption Nor forget the Post Office computer system that Blair imposed on them despite experts telling him the system was unproven and should not be enforced until the system had been cleared of any potential problems, or that Sir Ed (the clown) Davie had the opportunity to expose the problems but instead refused to even speak to the victims and reported back to the Government of the time that the system had just caught some crooks so no action was taken
Yup, I think all politicians and parties don't know what they are doing half the time, I'd like to say they lack the experience of the real world, but they all started somewhere. Maybe part the problem is having politicians doing jobs when they are in power that they have no experience or qualifications of doing - then once we get cabinet members who do know what they are doing the government goes and has a reshuffle. There is just no consistency, even the guy at the top (PM) is not safe in his job, and you can't really run a country effectively like that. I don't know what the answer is but I do feel once you are elected in you stay in your role until the next GE, make people accountable for the role they do, if you ****ed it up, you fix it, if you don't fix it we'll send you to prison...rather than scooting off, only to reappear a few days later on the back benches.. I get Labour didn't create the problems, but they had 14 years to put plans together for power, so Labour are going to empty the hotels, ok, so what's the plan, what's the timescale, why cancel plan A by the previous government when plan B by the new government isn't up and running yet.
I may be wrong (maybe) but the last time we had a real Government that worked and did what was necessary was the coalition one in WW2 You had a hard nosed no compromise bastard in charge and every post was filled by the best available regardless of which party they were from I sometime wonder if we should Elect the Prime Minister separate to the General Election which would not be to elect a Government as such but to elect the best people available for the people they represent and the Prime Minister forms the Government from the best available Good luck to the poor bastard elected as Prime Minister with the current crop of MPs but it would at least get rid of most of the cross party bickering and might just work out for the people in general
Sometimes when I listen to the aguments in Parliament just for a laugh, I think why don't you ****s actually work together instead of against each other all the time. I know it's the job of the shadow govenment to hold the current government to account but some of the bigger projects/problems they need to work together. Lammy makes me laugh he's like Boris a blunderbuss. Although DL is a lot lot louder. I think he got stitched up a bit with these prisons - I think the only reason I spoke out at the time was because I could see he was trying to bullshit it. He should have said straight out in Parliament, yes another one has got out...but but but hmmm yeah well lol. It's defo not his fault though the Tories were the ones that shagged the prison system.
