Yes it was something to do with them using some of our medical facilities or something like that.
 
I'm always dubious when it comes to signing players from what I would call minor countries. Sometimes it works, but ou never know, SB doesn't have a terrible record over the years with some players.
 
at whos request would this be ? Allam the Kid or Brucie the dad ??

as mentioned , although they are one of the top African clubs their opponent are of an inferior quality for the most part .
 
Bruce has gone on record as saying he is always dubious about signing players from foreign leagues.. they may come over for trials in the summer but I highly doubt this mid-season - a couple of Egyptians turning up in the english mid-season.. don't buy it.

touche, i must be having a slow day. My apologies :( To be honest, with the slow start for the big german perhaps we shouldn't be signing anyone who might need time to gel until the summer
 
Elmohammady came from ENPPI in Egypt. They are a country that produce some talent, Aboutrika and El Hadary are two examples of this (and Elmo of course). Gedo would be awesome, but I'd like to hear what the marketing manager actually said.

It was to twin the clubs with each other, we can trial some of their youngsters and they can use our advanced medical facilities when needed.
