Roy would only do that if he had broken his leg in three places at the hour mark...if we can avoid, life threatening events like that.... we could scrape a win.

Specially when it came to light that Charlie Austin had had no sleep the previous night, due to rescuing a little old ladies kitten from a high tree

Well I won't argue with you there. They are doing a top top job, a job I'd make a hash of within a week. And yes, Brix did wipe the floor with me but I'd like to think I gave him a run before I was eventually slaughtered.

The boys had to close yesterday's Jury thread. Simple as. As for the other threads, to be fair I think they just want to nip sh*t in the bud before it gets out of control. I can understand that. I just like the rough and tumble of a "meaty" debate, that's all.

But I do agree with you, they are doing a great job.
 
Its a very fine balance to strike and I'm very glad Roller and Nines are doing it for us. I don't think anybody wants to shut down 'meaty debate'', but it descends into personal abuse and stereotyping all too easily. Cut that out and I think anything goes. The old mantra of pause before you post and know the board guidelines actually does work.

Didn't he have to have a leg amputated at some stage? Perhaps he could be like Oscar Pistorius and play footie with blades? Perhaps he could be like Oscar Pistorius and stand trial for murdering his girlfriend. Anyone on the jury for that one?

Definitely not. I think our Mods do a fantastic job and we should trust their judgement 100%.

All closures are justified and due to perfectly valid reasons
