As for the other threads, to be fair I think they just want to nip sh*t in the bud before it gets out of control. I can understand that. I just like the rough and tumble of a "meaty" debate, that's all. But I do agree with you, they are doing a great job.
Its a very fine balance to strike and I'm very glad Roller and Nines are doing it for us. I don't think anybody wants to shut down 'meaty debate'', but it descends into personal abuse and stereotyping all too easily. Cut that out and I think anything goes. The old mantra of pause before you post and know the board guidelines actually does work.

Definitely not. I think our Mods do a fantastic job and we should trust their judgement 100%. All closures are justified and due to perfectly valid reasons
