Seen on the Chelsea board,an e-petition calling for no public funding for the new development,it's posted by United States who we know is a wum,so i don.t know if he's started it or not,from what it says he does'nt know the full facts,but he's trying to drum up support

Who cares? A couple of hundred idiots giving their email aren't going to change anything, especially if it's started by a bloody Yank :D

He might want to change his name before trying to get people on board with his petition, no one takes a yank seriously over here! <laugh>

even if it got to parliament it doesn't mean the politicians are gonna go for it.
Is a conservative government really going to go against london's incumbant mayor and presumably the conservative candidate for the next election?

people don't bother to get the facts,the money is for the surrounding area not the stadium,if we don't get the money go ahead with the stadium and leave the government to improve the area,that will cost taxpayers who opposed it More

Vote Ken!

Besides, if they really wanted 100,000+ signatures, to make it appeal to the people who use that site it'd have to say something like "The money for redeveloping Stamford Bridge should be used to pay for hanging looters and Jobseekers." It'd probably have 300,000 votes already if it did...

2500 names?...not on Michigans thread, thats gone down like the perverbial lead balloon, only 5 posts when I looked...and 3 of them were from Spurs fans! <laugh>, couldn't happen to a better nobhead.

For a 400m project, seeing as we've only been offered 8m by GLA, and some other money for the surrounding area is part of the Riots fund anyway, does the dickhead organising this petition realise this.

<doh>

It was on 2,580 when I signed yesterday, just because the not606 article that Michigan posted on a few boards didn't receive any real response, doesn't mean that it isn't doing it's job, because 400 have signed up in the last 24 hours as word gets round on all different football boards, Facebook and Twitter.

Probably won't hit the 100K, still the reaction from certain Spurs posters going on the defensive make it fun and worth the effort.

Bearing in mind how few users this site has got Michigan posting the link to the petition isn't really going to make a lot of difference. Let's face it, of those 2,500 signatures the petition has already got over 50% of them are Michigan's other personae and the balance embittered Spam fans.

Really? It's not on just this site, it's now doing the rounds.

2,580 when I signed yesterday
2,980 when I just checked

All in 24 hours

Believe me, there are plenty of other clubs fans out there that hate Spurs enough to sign up.

<ok>

Perhaps you should march on Parliament to raise publicity, you've clearly got nothing better to do...
