Its been on every public media outlet and the net for 24hrs and gained 400 votes....how will I ever sleep tonight!...<doh>

"Believe me, there are plenty of other clubs fans out there that hate Spurs enough to sign up."

Believe me, there's more that just don't give a ****.

By that logic, Inter and Juventus fans would've kept Berlusconi out of office...

This is hilariously pathetic! <laugh>
The fact that West Ham can't muster enough fans to fill it on their own only makes it more amusing.

Can't fill a petition, never mind a 60,000 seater stadium with a race track as wide as Karen Brady's mouth.

PNP as already mentioned just a bit of fun, banter nothing to get hung up about!

Wonder if we can cover Karen Brady's mouth with the retractable seats she seemed to be indicatingÉ

http://www.kumb.com/story.php?id=125806

Or the ones that David Gold mentioned last night on Twitter?

@DavidGoldWHU David Gold
“@Michaelbray12: @DavidGoldWHU Will OS have retractable seats over running track? There will be some form of retractable seating DG

6. Just a bit of fun, eh?

I tell you what, let's start an e-petition calling for John Terry to be banned by the FA for ever playing again for England, on the basis that he has completely and utterly undermined their "stamp racism out of football" campaign.

I don't necessarily believe that JT is a racist, but hey! it'll only be a bit of banter, eh?

Just to get into the spirit, how about creating an e-petty-tion demanding that, if West Ham are so determined to move to the Olympic Stadium, they should repay the £496m (and counting) of taxpayer's money before they move in?

How can they have retractable seating?
As far as I can see, the seats go down to the same level as the pitch and they can't lower, if I remember correctly.

One at a time lads, one at a time.

Human - good question, but just need to think that through a little bit more

Why on earth would we repay 496 million for something that we RENT and WON'T OWN? <ok>

BTW - have you made up with Ensil yet?

PNP - Don't know, but it sounds like the engineers may have found a way. Just remains to be seen how good / bad it will be. Brady is obviously spouting off that it will be the dog's B's while Gold mentioned "some form" of retractable seating.

If they have a solution, then it will make a massive difference to the fans views (i.e should we stay or go) and overall experience <ok>

Oh and btw the signatures have grown by 1,000 in just over 4 days.

Will be interesting to see if it keeps up at this rate or anything close.

Looks like the cost of NDP is rising all the time, another 50 million? Even more need for government/public money?

At the current rate you'll have enough signatures by the time the stadium's finished.

And, of course, your OS bid had absolutely nothing to do with the use of public funds, whatsoever! <doh>

I thought Michigan, or whatever he's calling himself this week, was banned from this site? I wonder if all these idiots signing his "petition" realise that they are just feeding one of the worst WUM's to ever plague these forums.

I think I read that he was also banned from his own board, too. You'd know more about that than me, though.

He posts on here as United States.
I don't think that he's banned from the Gooner board, unless it happened very recently.

Really?

Firstly they are not "my" signatures, secondly it's up by 2,000 in under a week. If it carries at that pace (8-9,000 a month) over the next 10 months then it will be fairly close to the 100K required. Obviously I would be surprised if it did, but just seen even more Twitter evidence out there, if it gets trending then who knows?

Which stadium, NDP? I don't think you will have that done by then, why do you?

<ok>
