I seldom dream but when I do they are usually pretty vivid and there was certainly talking and music sometimes, I never recall if they were in colour.
I dream in colour but like you I know people who don't know if they do or not. I also like waking up during a dream, drinking some water, turning my pillow over to the cool side, going back to sleep and going straight back into the same dream. Ever realised you were dreaming and started controlling the dream? I used to do it all the time when I was younger but it rarely happens now.
I remember a dream I had just after me and the burd (who was to become my wife ) had started living together when we were teenagers. I dreamt she had died and woke up to see her lying next to me. Believing I was in bed with a dead body I started screaming my head off. She leapt up out of the bed, which of course made me scream even more, and in her own panic she ran out the house bollock naked I now consider this dream to have been a fore warning
I awoke in the night with a fever and the sky was the darkest blue and a still voice was calling to me "your country is needing you" Aye just like that. and away in the distance i can just make out this ball, coming in from the left, and i'm starting to run, to run like hell and the voices are getting louder and louder and louder, crying, "Hey big yin, gaun yersel'" I have a dream (we have a dream) If dreams come true (If dreams come true) then bonny Scotland (then bonny Scotland) I will play for you. (we'll play for you) Now i hope and i pray (we hope and pray) that if, if I do (that if we do) Then bonny Scotland we'll play for you Name the year.
I'm on holiday in Ireland at the moment. It's still 1976. Brotherhood of Man are at number one with Save All Your Kisses For Me and a young Martin McGuinness has just made his first kill.
