Quite a lot in south east asia, as they have been 'experimenting' with going back to doing what they used to, using animal 'crops' to fertilize and control pests, which is, of course, far better than using pesticides and chemical fertilizers. As to them eating soy, yes, they do, the feed is mainly made up from 97% of the plant that is inedible for humans. So, who is the vegan then, as there's obviousy one fairly close as you're coming out with the standard vegan BS.
Drop the patronising bollocks ern. It’s not BS. Go and research it for yourself. 80% of all agricultural land is used to grow food for animals that are then used for meat. So you need twice the amount of land and resources. When you could just use that land once to grow crops for human consumption. And it’s not just soy. It’s wheat, corn, grains, vegetables etc. Then there is the amount of water (another resource in demand) needed, which is something like 4x 5x times more to produce meat. Take that into consideration along with the carbon footprint due to deforestation and land cleared to raise animals and you can see why it’s so resource intensive. I’m not saying eating meat is bad, I’m saying that in the west we consume far too much of it and expect it to be cheap, which drives the problem. I’m all for sustainable food production (the examples you’ve outlined) that’s exactly what I’ve been saying. Eating less and better quality meat would be an improvement.
I hate to be pedantic ... but cows are primarily employed to turn grass into milk ... bullocks on the udder hand .... don't need milking ... with either hand
Some evil kids where I lived back in Leicester also used to wrap up dried dog **** in shiny toffee papers ... never fell for that either
I know mate ... were some right little bastards where I grew up ... actually saw one kid fall for it ... they told him it was "butterscotch" ... saw him around and about for some years after so it probably didn't do him any harm ....kids can be proper little ****s ... one reason I didn't fall for it was that no kid in his right mind where I lived would share his sweets ... tight ****ers
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm..... "Not unpleasant" isn't actually the most convincing gastronomic review I've seen, to be honest, mate

What are the respective calorie counts mate? ... and would the crickets have eaten anything containing gluten?
It's not an issue though is it unless you want to eat the whole bag or something, a small amount of peanuts isn't bad for you and neither are crickets but one tastes a hellova lot better than the other.
I'm betting that Skiddy feasts regularly on fried dung beetle, judging by the amount of ****e he talks. I'm right, yeah?
