Yeah I'm pretty sure 150 years ago they were eating normal food...my ancestors were probably busy perfecting the curries we all enjoy nowadays. Didnt realise a bunch of Aadvarks posted on here aswell
Adding the fact that 80 percent of the world's population eats insects as a regular part of their diet didn't seem to make an impression. And neither did the fact that they contain lots of protein and hardly any fat. Americans' antipathy to bugs as food is well-entrenched.
Are you referring to this? http://www.most-expensive.coffee/ Its not quite making coffee out of cat **** - essentially the Sivets eat the beans, can't digest them and then they employ someone to find the ****, separate the beans out and clean them, remove skin and roast them. I don't notice the diffference in taste to be honest so I am not going to pay the high price. However the left over **** does make a nice "biscuit' for dunking in the coffee after roasting.
Think it's important to ensure that these are organic crickets though, raised in the wild and not a product of factory farming.
Similar to Argan oil. I've seen it being produced. Basically there are Goats (that climb trees) and eat the argan fruit/nut, then **** out the the seed in the middle. People then collect the seeds and press the seeds to extract the oil. So all of that expensive cosmetic stuff that fancy ladies like to use on their faces, has basically come out of the arse end of a goat
Goats that climb trees ? How the **** can an animal with hooves climb a ****ing tree? I knew this thread was pure mentalness..,
Morocco. First time I saw them I had the same reaction 'There's a Goat ! In a Tree !' But there you go, every day's a school day eh ?
