Some canny stuff from him on Twitter today. Link in the covid thread.

More to come as well no doubt

Have the Whatsapp messages been independently confirmed as genuine? It looks to me like it's just been accepted as fact.

Remarkable really that the media wanted and were actively encouraging having him lynched this time last year, but now sit at his feet like he's the oracle.

Not so much as an oracle, just somebody dishing dirt and creating some sellable news...

... "Michael Gove has offered a rigorous defence of Cummings’ actions amid the lockdown and called him a man of honour and integrity.
The Cabinet Office minister said the Prime Minister’s chief aide had given an account of his trip to Durham that was “exhaustive, detailed and verifiable”, despite continued calls for him to resign over the matter."

"Boris Johnson has offered his unequivocal support for Dominic Cummings, saying he “acted legally, responsibly and with integrity."

Making a better job than Stammer, as leader of the opposition, mind you not too difficult a task, and who could argue with what he says ? Not Boris or his cabinet of sycophants.
