I posted on a thread last week suggesting 4-6-0, with the squad and the players we have, I still like the idea and it ought to suit us. We did try and warn them 55

It's also the way the modern game is going, read any book on football tactics -and not so modern either, it's called 'total football' and a version of this was played by Brazil in the 1970's, Germany's WC team last year played a similar system.
I support him as its only 3 games into the season, and chappaz we dont play hoofball like your lot and you can mention the derby or Brighton all you like but am proud to be a Sunderland fan and all the smug attitiude you guys have now will no doubt be wiped off your faces when Ashley strikes again.
KTF and FTM!
I maintain that he's on a sliding scale with me, if and I know its a big if we beat Swansea then my BIB scales goes up a notch in favour. Vice versa if we lose. Im not Bruces biggest fan butI'm not quite ready to start burning effigies of him but I'm still swearing about the team he put out last night. Saying that, the team should still have won the game.
If we beat Swansea we'll have 4 points from 3 ganes which is what I expected. If we lose we'll have 1 point from 4 games after Chelsea beat us, that could be a different story then.
A question to anyone who was there last night, were there any anti bruce chants (ya don't know what ya doing, etc) from the crowd at any point
I'm still a BIB, but I would like an explanation of last nights team selection?
However, I still can't believe the knee-jerk reaction to an away defeat to a Brighton side who are undefeated this season...
The only downfall is that Bruce didn't get the team to play well organized and systematic total football. From what I heard they just played a lot of hoofball towards a striker which didn't even exist.

It's not just about this season though, what we are seeing is exactly the same as last season since Bent left and let's be honest the only reason we stayed up in Bruce's first season was because of Bent and most managers at other clubs wouldn't have survived 14 games without a win that Bruce endured and he should be thanking his lucky stars that he has someone like Quinn behind him.
Our results and performances since January have been nothing short of a disgrace and their is nothing I have seen that tells me Bruce can turn this around.
Lost 9 out of last 11 home games
11 points out of last 16 games
We have hurtled backwards at a frightening pace since Bent left and it just proves we were a one man team.
