Enjoy your day at arsenal lads.
No Quill, not all, he's clearly just an attention seeking pathetic idiot.Bit of a bellend thing to say. Though that's no surprise from you I suppose.
Forgotten where we came from have we?
I mentioned it a lot at the time!I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the penalty we didn't get, when Akpom was brought down?
.....particularly when you have tram sevice that goes directly to OT in the town like Bury does.I agree with that sentiment 100% - the lads n lasses who go religiously to the likes of Bury, Macclesfied, Stockport, Accrington etc etc because ''that's where they come from'' are brilliant, it's nice to see community clubs doing ok in the shadows of the Manchester and liverpool ''giants''.
No-one seems to have mentioned the embarrassment of the idiots, who really should not be called supporters, kicking off before the game. I thought the mindless imbeciles were left in the 1980's. It reminded me of the scum from Millwall who came and ripped our seats out in an FA cup match a few years ago. Bury really are a friendly down to earth club, why did they feel they needed to have a go? I don't want to be associated with those morons and I hope any arrested receive a life ban.
Now get back to playing the likes of Scunthorpe, theirs a good boy
"spesupersydera, post: 8862707, member: 1027468"]Hmmm ....... methinks there's been a lot of nibbles at some most luminous bait? Correct!
17 years ago we were more than half a dozen points adrift in 92nd place. we've had as many winding-up orders against us as anyone, especially in the 1990s.burnley and swansea have come close to dropping out of the league in the last 20 years. all three have since reached the premier league. better times may be just around the corner.
I haven't seen it on a replay but a few seconds before the offside goal I recall there was a glaring handball by a shaker not punished by the referee. I couldn't see myself if the goal was offside but the penalty looked a definite penalty from where I was sat.

I have been a fan since early to mid 80's so don't know what it was like in the 70's. I quite agree that it wasn't as bad as the 1980's, but still it doesn't do the reputation of our club any favours. I mention it as to my knowledge violence at matches hasn't been a part of the matchday experience for years. I think that really is the point, we all think of Millwall supporters as a bunch of thugs in it for violence and stand-offs with opposing fans rather than watching a game of football and supporting their team. More scenes like that could gain ourselves that kind of reputation. I seem to recall a thread a year or two ago bemoaning the level of policing of our away games when our fans are generally a well behaved bunch. Those morons will fuel the policing argument and increase the costs of it to the club. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought it was noteworthy.Do you think perhaps that no-one's mentioned it (apart from you) cos' it REALLY wasn't worth mentioning? It was two sets of young fans posturing and chest beating either side of a locked gate, a bit silly mebbe but ''like the scum from Millwall?' Not really, there were no seats ripped up, there'll be no banning orders cos' these Greater Manchester Police, who handle huge crowds, dealt with it with great ease. Let's be honest with ourselves too, if you were at games in the 70's & 80's you know that the non-event on Saturday was nothing like back then.
