I think it's best not to get hung up on the history of teams, and which clubs are 'bigger'. And it's good if anyone supports their local club (in whatever way they feel fit), and that's really the main thing. History should be something that is made rather than held onto like a crutch.

I do feel you deserved to go through (just) and I wish you all the best but I can't feeling a bit hard done by because our goal didn't look offside and your lad certainly wasn't fouled for the pen.

I was sat in the main stand right in line with Lowey and he was on. Also seen the pen incident and to me it looks like your lad just ran past the defender, touched him and only had one thing on his mind and that was doing a Tom Daley. As for the penalty, Hussey gave Aluko a shove. That's all it takes. I have watched it several times and I find it hard to believe that anyone could have a doubt, easy penalty, maybe, but, that is how it is, soft or nailed on, it really would not make a difference.

I think that the spirit shown by your team was great and there is no shame in this loss. Hull City supporters generally have a lot of respect for clubs who have been close to folding. We have also had a home stand sold to away supporters, 5000 plus Bradford supporters and 3700 of ours.
