Oi, Oi, Oi I'll be having none of that. There are a lot of northerners that aren't very bright, but the proportion is reciprocated in the south too!
It was said in jest, just a bit of banter that's all. Most of my mates/acquaintances at Uni are northern (ironically Manchester) so I was clearly joking
Everywhere has idiots sadly. As much as City life has its pros it has a lot of cons. There seems to be a better community spirit in rural areas and quiet villages
So what you're saying is they don't think Aquilani is worth £7 million? I think I get it perfectly Errrr, you scored 25 goals in total. Utd in 98/99 scored 29, despite playing two games less (no round of 16). You weren't even the highest scorers last season - Real bagged 35 goals! Don't tell me you tried to count your goals from the shoot out? Or the goals you conceded? Something about two short planks springs to mind... And Trafford full of gentlemen
No, I think that they would much rather have Pirlo for free than Aquilani for a cost, simple really. No reflection on Aquilani, it's just good business. I think we're coming from different directions here haha, it's hardly a difficult concept, I'm sure you'll see what I mean now. Anyway, no more arguing about Juventus not buying a Liverpool player on the United board for me tonight! It's all a bit petty, isn't it.
Yep, a bit pointless really, he has never really been a Liverpool player and Juventus obviouesly don`t want him anyway.
Yet 2 days after you said this Liverpool accept a 7 million pound offer Keep up the good work Barrance.
You mean an undisclosed offer, right? Which Barrance will obviously claim is therefore at least £20 million. Although apparently Aqua's agent has said the deal won't go through "because the figures involved do not allow Fiorentina to sign him". Ah, yet another club who think Aqua is worth much less than Liverpool are paying him...
Liverpool bought Aqua for £20 mil and had all their posters done about how a "prince would emerge" or whatever. Pity they got the fairy tale wrong and he ended up the ugly duckling. I thought i would miss Rafa and his useless signings but they got in KK and his were even funnier.
We hope for fourth, realistically we'd settle for sixth or seventh. A straw poll of my Liverpool supporting family and workmates and I've only found ONE workmate who thinks we'll get top four: my Bluenose brother-in-law reckons we'll get twelfth (maybe! ), while two United fans at work reckon we'll get fourth because Arsenal and Spurs will struggle this season. Don't blame SG claiming we CAN get fourth, as outside the two Manchesters and Chelsea, with all the signings they've made (btw, when does this FFP thing kick in?) there's no-ne that special. We're in a much-of-a-muchness with Spurs, Arsenal, Newcastle and Everton. Got to say though that Arsenal and Spurs will almost certainly be too strong for the next couple of seasons.
