Gerrard is a great player, but **** me he looks like a proper fan boy in the photo in that article. Daniel Craig is there, straight back and picture of dignity, whilst Stevie looks totally star struck. He looks like he can't believe Daniel Craig has agreed to have a photo taken with him!

Mate, If I had my photo taken with someone who has saved the world over 20 times, gets every woman he wants is awesome at poker and has a watch that can fire acid darts, Id look a little starstruck too......

Its james Bond FFS!!!

Next time your in Donny give me a shout and you can have your photo taken with me then......... <ok>

(although I don't do acid darts).

Liverpool have the foundation of a very good side. there are not many better central defenders around than Agger and Skrtel. Having Lucas back and Aqualani will be like having two new £20 million pound signings.

And this year we won't have the disruption of the Suarez ban and several new players trying to settle at once. You can mock our bad luck as much as you want, but there is no way we will go through such a run again.

One of the big changes I expect to see under Rodgers is LFC treating the games amongst the bottom ten a lot more seriously, and if we keep up our excellent record against the better teams then we will be on track.

I think Stevie G is being completely realistic to say we can finish in the top four, although it will be difficult as there are a lot of good teams around, the likes of yourselves, City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and the Barcodes fighting for four places.

Will be a good season.....

Jog on pal, don't come on here getting all mouthy coz you managed to fluke the champions league by parking the bus. An absolute embarrassment to English football<doh>

Nice try.

Aquilani is dogshit. Worse than Charlie Adam.

I think they will finish in the top 6, whether they will be a top 4 team then only time will tell.

Liverpool have the foundation of a very average side. there are not many worse central defenders around than Agger and Skrtel. Having Lucas back and Aqualani who is shocking will be like having two new £20 signings. Cole will **** it us for us.

And this year we won't have the disruption of the Suarez ban and several new players trying to settle at onc (as we cant get any decent ones to come play for us). You can mock our bad luck as much as you want, but there is no way we will go through such a run again, until September when we fail in the quest for a top 4 place.

One of the big changes I expect to see under Rodgers is LFC treating the games amongst the bottom ten a lot more seriously, and if we keep up our excellent record against the better teams then we will be on track to finish 8th.

I think Stevie G is being completely dumb to say we can finish in the top four, although it will be difficult as there are a lot of good teams around, the likes of UTD, City, Chavski, Arsenal, Everton, Stoke, WBA, West Ham, Spurs and the Barcodes fighting for four places.

Will be a good season to laugh at us again

Fixed

Sorry thought you referring to the other teams, and it might make you look like a Manc, Was trying to do my bit....like Bond would have

Nah, I left *nited out on purpose, to many old and injury prone players to dine at the table with the big boys.

He probably is if you don't watch much football and take the Daily Star football writers word as gospel.

Aqua hasn't really done anything to make me think he was be any good for you when he has played though.

I supposed time will tell ( until he starts try to push a move through towards the end of the transfer window ) <ok>

He was very good in the very short time he got towards the end of Rafa's last season. Neither Juve or Milan bought him because they're incredibly tight with cash right now.

Or because they don't think he is worth the wage Liverpool are paying him ?

He knows he can't get that sort of money back in Italy which is why he keeps getting him loan moves pushed through - Liverpools wages but playing back home ( I appreciate the other club cover some of his wages ).

I obviously haven't seen him as much as you but he has never looked anything outstanding when I have seen him play.

I would sort of agree with that first sentence, though what I will say is he hasn't been given a fair crack of the whip by any of our previous managers since he signed in 2009 so it has been tough for him to attempt to make an impression at Liverpool.

The thing I disagree with is him being called "dogshit". A player who's played for Roma, Liverpool, Juventus and AC Milan is obviously not "dogshit".

Its like calling Forlan "dogshit" because he wasn't suited to the premier league at the time and everything conspired against him when he was at Man Utd.

He gave an interview quite recently in which he said that Roy and then Kenny basically told him to accept a loan move, and that he was bemused at how he'd been treated. Whether or not that's the whole truth... Who knows. Roy certainly didn't seem to want him, despite his good form in August.

He's a classy, creative player, with good vision and the capability to play incisive and accurate passes long and short. Comparable to say, Nocerino of AC Milan.
