Generally he's alright but I still think he's too biased to United. He was happy to give Moyes a kicking when things had been going wrong for awhile but he still refuses to believe that the sun doesn't shine out of Van Gaal's arse. I thought his last MNF was crap. He showed about a minute of play from kick off against Swansea to show how the 3 at the back works but all it really highlighted was what a pointless amount of running sideways the defenders had to do whilst swapping markers. 3-5-2 is attractive to managers as you get to have 3 in the middle and 2 upfront but the reality of it means that you have to be really well drilled for it to work and I'd say you also have to play quite tight defensive football, hitting on the counter. I'm hoping we'll see a more balanced view on this week's MNF should they chose to break down another United game(they'll probably chose the Everton game to save his blushes).
Gary Neville still has some way to go before he can match Andy Gray in his prime, who was such a good pundit, Everton offered him 1 million pound to be their manager.
Andy Gray was the most annoying man on the planet. I remember muting him on hundreds of occasions. If Gary Neville is king of the cliche then Andy is God.
