I'm sure that RCL would stand by his criticism of Jamie Redknapp's analysis if it were made public. The same can't be said of Mackay's far more dubious comments.

Clarke Carlisle (also an idiot) last week said that Lennon's defensive work did not get noticed enough, possibly "because he's so small". That was quite special. Did you read the column where he talked about doing his homework on the Hammers? His conclusion was that West Ham did much better according to the stats in their first game than last year. I can't actually prove it, but I think his in-depth analysis didn't get to the obscure point that West Ham played half the game against 10 men. Also, sorry flaspur, but I'm on RCL's side on this one, because I will occasionally call someone I don't like ***** or **** or so on. I don't see any harm in it, as it seems to me it's just a way of saying you really don't like someone, and very different from using a racially, ethnically or religiously offensive phrase.
