Thanks Tewks [and Ted].Thought I would manage to sneak in under the radar at 11pm .I have noticed that most first posts are lengthy and intuitive so my one liner wasnt really worthy of announcing my arrival.Nice that it was spotted though.
Just a pointer for those of you who are not familiar with the geography of North East London. Chingford is only a mile or so from Ponders End [I am on the posh side of the reservoir] so I have long since wondered how a fellow addick has found himself in Tottenham country[I just found Welling mind numbingly boring so got out as early as I could].

Re the crowd it was noticeable the lack of atmosphere on Boxing Day and the non stop chanting yesterday and compare it to the two performances. A as has been mentioned the Cardiff game when our fans were singing even at 2 0 down .

I wonder how much the loss of Colin Cameron had to do with the atmosphere on Boxing Day? The spot next to the shop where he used to stand and chat to the fans looked terribly empty yesterday.

I think the boxing day crowd is often subdued as many are "just visiting"[a bit like jail in monopoly ].For example my 25 year old son who lives in Finsbury Park and has supported Charlton all his life came to his first game of the season and was mightily disappointed. When people come to be entertained they ,wrongly, expect to be lifted by the team .Those of us who are more regular know that this team needs us to lift them.
