Better late than never…

EFL clubs vote through rule changes to stop allowing clubs from selling their stadiums at a profit to circumcise FFP. Applies from 1 July 2021.
Sounds painful!!!! Clubs won't be able to save their own 'skins' through unscrupulous methods anymore...They'll just have to make 'cut-backs' like the rest of us!!

That probably means Derby can’t sign that Danish centre-forward Førskinnes.

The EFL aren't happy with the punishment handed down by the disciplinary panel, so if there's any issues with the accounts they're being forced to refile, then they plan to go for a points deduction during the coming season.

Why or how does this disciplinary panel end up getting to decide on such a ridiculously **** and soft punishment? Why do they not just get punished as per the EFL rules dictate they should?

They’ve wormed their way out of it on a technicality too haven’t they, over the way the charge was worded.

The EFL decided to use an independent panel to decide the punishments in these situations, to avoid accusations of bias.

But it’s just ended up with them being accused of being ****.

There any chance of them being docked points this season?

Derby aren't out of it yet, Alan Nixon has stated that the EFL aren't done with Derby and the outcome will be either a points deduction or a continuation of their transfer embargo if their submitted records aren't in order.

Which, given what's happened, I don't think they will be. Signing Wayne Rooney on £50,000 a week and not selling many players will have harmed their FFP.

When City play them on Sky in August we’ll deduct 3 points off them for starters.
On that note I see we are well down the pecking order for the choice of games to be shown live.

Derby County have accepted a suspended 3-point deduction that will be activated if they fail to pay their players before June 30th 2022. #Sheffield Wednesday have accepted a suspended 6-points deduction, which becomes active if they don’t pay before the same date.
