in talks with Sunderland apparrantly, wouldn't come cheap I'd imagine, I think Spurs paid 15m for him. He'd instantly become our best midfielder by a mile, here's hoping lads

Has he fallen away significantly in the last couple of years though? For Fulham he was briefly a world beater! Great change of pace and ability to beat a man and hit it from 25 yards. Would be exciting with a tinge of doubt over his recent record.
Good to hear. he'd be one of my top targets, for that advanced midfield position. is there anyone better+realistic we could try for? i don't think there is....
