Bruce knows he needs to replace Bent, Defoe would be an acceptable replacement. The way I look at it is Wickam is replacing Welbeck, if we get Welbeck on loan it will be to cover Campbells injury. We still need to replace Bent, Bruce is not going to do that by selling Gyan because then he would need to replace Gyan.
Anyway I can't see it happening, so worry not.
