What track would that be Goldie? The nicking dubious 1-0 wins whilst playing coma-inducing 'football' or a miraculous transformation into a Championship version of Spurs when Harry was in charge? We were never on track so to speak. Eight wins and two draws from our first ten matches was a surreal return from some seriously poor football. Four wins, draws and defeats from the next twelve is a far truer reflection of our standard of play, mid-table mediocrity and it will take more than a couple of forwards signed either on loan or permanently to turn us from the 'ugly duckling' to the 'beautiful swan' footballing-wise. We 'peaked' at the beginning of the season, it's downhill all the way now...
Sooper, you forget the innate quality within our squad and the terrible lack of quality within this division. We have massive potential for growth, we are the tiny acorn from which the mighty oak shall spring! Grind on, get promotion, new squad, gel time etc etc
I listened to the Reading commentary and they were all hoping for the game to be called off from the first minute to the last. Nuff' said
Ive just watched our c\game through twice and read this thread and come to one decision.. the OP is a pile of sh**e. This isnt the Helenic, SAL, old Boys or even commercial league.... Our oppo are pro's and we have to accept they can do stuff we cannot deal with OP was total knee-jerk and not worth the read. I accept & thank Col for his efforts and report. i just cannot agree with much of it Maybe if we brought back Adel then..... Nah ..not worth the bother
Pearson up on those child sex case charges yet then mate..? Maybe we should post on your board again and you mods can tell me to F**K off as posted by proud gay fox? Your ******s asked us to stop making your posters look like clowns, so we did. Now go home to mum and do your homework. Must be school time soon. we can of course carry on our conversation on your board...where a lot of your posters were in tears..well what do you expect from northerners!
I really think we'll be fine guys... My theory is that the side were genuinely knocked by losing on their own patch to Leicester. Particularly considering they played well, they must've thought "sh*te...what have we got to do to get a win". The bounceback didn't come because it was a genuinely dispiriting loss, and we needed to start quick V Forest to dispel memories of it. We didn't start quickly because of the lineup, which essentially meant playing with 10 men. AJ couldn't be played from the beginning, because he was unfit. So Arry gambled on being able to get 45 out of Zamora, which was clearly an error of judgement. I personally didn't have any qualms starting with Henry, in general he's been fine. The second half performance was much improved, but we just weren't good enough. That's fine, it'll happen some days. It was unfortunate to be missing our two most crucial players, and unfortunate that a once-in-a-season linesman/ref mixup led to an easy goal for them. I think heads were a little down at times in the 2nd 45. My main concern is our once water tight defence is now looking decidedly shaky. Time to reintroduce the club's best centre back Nedum Onouha, assuming he's fit for regular action.
You've got the QPR version of 'FoxesPlayer' haven't you? Sign in to ours and watch the highlights. You might be able to make your mind up out of fact rather than fiction
Col's had a wobble ans its understandable IMO .. we all care and need to vent but as a QPR fan I have to believe it's part of what being QPR means ... we are an extremely lucky club to have the resources to even vent about. I think we will still do it and win by 10. No one is looking at how the rest of the league can beat each other Harold has said to be fair that it will be very tight from day one A couple of results have gone nothing like we wanted but they are gone lads as the season evolves I base my belief on the fixture list and I see 15 points from our last 5 games including a win away at the Foxes and at home to Forest If you really study the games of what you think will be teams up the top you may feel a lot better
Knock yourself out brother and we'l come over to your board. Proud asked / pleaded with us to leave as we'd shown your fans up as possibly the dumbest ever we left out of respect, but if you fancy a war....then bring it...Just make sure you can take it ..(more than you're mum- who's so dumb she got hit by a parked car..) # Mamma
To be fair once again the Championship is as competitive as ever, all teams go through a sticky patch - ours last season was over 2 months long! I fully expect Qpr to be thereabouts come may - good luck for the rest of the season (apart from when you play us!)
I think you'll find this all stopped last week until the mods decided that yhe other clown mod from another site was allowed to give us **** on our own site. Dont blame me for sticking up for our own team and supporters against some mod prick who over stepped the mark If you mods cant or wont sort out the situation, the you leave it to us to defend ourselves!! I respect our mod regardless but will never accept abuse and wumming to our own fans on our own board by anyone. If you wont / cant do it, then leave us alone to fight our own battles !
Have you ever though that multi board forums aren't for you if you get upset at a bit of harmless wumming? Incidentally Grifter started the original thread with some tongue in cheek comments - AKCJ returned the favour and you've taken it personally
REALLY? You think allowing some mod from another site to come on our board and WUM us and abuse our players & manager is Ok then do you? Absolute ****e ? Like I said, If you dont want to defend our own board against wumming and piss taking then dont; but dont persecute those of us who want to defend our team and posters.! You're the miod Matt and i guess wg=hat you say goes..but I'd at least ahve exopected some back upfrom my own mod...esp after Nines asked him to be banned !?
Very magnanimous of you rightside, best of luck for the rest of the season yourselves! (bar april 19th).
Well, the obvious answer is the track that took us to the top of the Championship table a couple of weeks ago, Sooper. I agree we've never looked completely convincing and most of our performances would not draw much interest or enjoyment from any third party watching. But what Harry has done in giving us virtually a complete blood transfusion (no one will argue it wasn't needed) and taking us to or near the top of the table immediately thereafter is at least creditable. I still believe that properly managed and with some help from the God of enduring football injuries, the players that we have if supplemented by one or two players of good quality over the next month will be enough to get us into the play-offs. Who wouldn't have taken that at the end of last season?
