I don't agree with the view that Kranky doesn't give a ****; I thought he was the one player last night who actually tried to make things happen. Rather than a bad attitude, I think his issue his fitness: he's just to heavy (for a professional footballer) and can't sustain a high level of performance for any kinf of duration. One half seems to be his optimum time. But BAE is starting to look a bit suspect: he can pick a pass but defensively his attitude is wrong, something that became apparent to me during the Doncaster game. Unfortunately, he's our best left-back but the commitment's not entirely there, in my opinion.
Thats what I was getting at, but I think if I hadn't have slept on it my post would have been a bit over the top.
Agree - why take off phillips yesterday vs Yossi? Makes no sense unless you are on a bung of some sort. I heard a story - from a cabbie - so take it with a pinch - that a player wanted to get transferred but Harry would not play him at Spurs - Harry told the player to give him x,000 and then he would play him in order to get interest for the transfer - the player did. Of course it's just hearsay - but where smoke n all that maybe. Why sign so many has beens over youth?
Simple, he's not here for the long run. I think he leaves in the summer no matter what leaving a new manager with a huge rebuilding job. This is why I want him gone asap so a new man can start planing more than a month ahead.
Fair enough mate. I really hope you're right, as we desperately need some creativity imo. But why is it that we, as a club, seem to have so much trouble getting/keeping players fit?
That's a good question; unfortunately, I don't have an answer. Why we should have had so many hamstring injuries this season is perplexing. I suppose, however, Kranky's weight could be an indication of a bad attitude and an insight into the player's ambitions with the club in the longer term; performance wise, though, I don't think HR does Kranky any favours by putting him on the wing; yes, he can cut inside but overall it just slows down the side's momentum.
Completely agree. I'd play him in the centre as an attacking midfielder, although I'd probably only play him in home games whilst he looks so unfit.
We either have a fitness coach who should be sacked or the training ground pitches are causing them. 90% of injuries are hamstrings.
Definitely this I've attended every single game this season and much as various individuals at the club keep going on about the fantastic levels of support, I do increasingly feel that we are being taken for granted by many of the players and Rednapp himself I spend many £000s a season for myself and my son to follow the Rs up and down the country, and it has been pretty tough at times to stomach some of the performances. It is great that we are so close to the top of the division at this stage of the season BUT I want to be entertained! I want to see us having a real go at other teams - not just trying to maximise our possession statistics. I'm more than a little frustrated by many of the performances - individual and collective - this season. Even some of the games that we've won have been poor eg Blackpool - we were awful first half and could've been several down by half-time Wednesday's game was a case in point - first half we looked a shambles, and everytime we got into the Forest half seemed to lose impetus and want to keep the ball by going backwards rather than having a go. Yes, some much better spells in the second half, but even then not testing the opposition keeper nearly enough. I really can't understand how Rednapp got the starting formation so wrong I fear for us at Watford tomorrow - we just look far too lightweight up front, and Watford's pace will definitely trouble Dunne and Hill However, I do think that with a couple of changes in personnel in the January window we can still finish in the top 2 See you all at VR tomorrow!
I haven't read all comments - only first two pages so can we put the Forest game down to the fact that usually over the Xmas period......Rangers always seem to play ****e in one or two games. We haven't won at Forest - we still have that to come so lets forget it and move onto Watford. I may yet end up eating a large slice of humble pie buit surely we can't forget the basics in this game as well......like play to the whistle? Yep, we missed Charlie Austin, and, (and I never thought I'd say this but Joey Barton). One to score goals and one to "glue" the midfield together and add some bite there. Another striker to support Charlie - maybe two and maybe another holding midfield player and we might be ok. Keep the faith....we are QPR and we always do things the HARD WAY!!!!!
Well done for supporting the R's nationwide mate! Just wondering, I still rue the day we missed out on Gary Hooper as I think he is of the right sort of age and potential. Not securing his signature perhaps suggested that we will not be able to attract that sort of player until we return to the premiership. If this is the case what will we get in the forthcoming window?
This may sound like a strange thing to say, but in football terms I'm not too worried if we fail to get back up into the top tier at the first attempt Supporting the Rs (and I've done so for over 35 years now) has, to me, been first and foremost about watching and enjoying good football, and following my team around the country Whilst this season has seen us start well, I've been left pretty cold by much of the football and lack of adventure and creativeness that we've shown. This isn't the QPR I know and love Watching MOTD again this morning just further reinforces to me the difference between our style of play and the lower achieving PL teams. Even they attack with pace, have players finding space, have strikers able to receive the ball with their backs to goal and turn and shoot. I just don't see this often enough in us Unfortunately, business wise an early return to the PL is probably essential to our owners' plans, and remaining in the Championship may see black clouds on the horizon More positively, let's go for the same result at VR as in 2010/11!! COYRs

Fair point Kiwi, but how about Hull, Palace, even West Ham and West Brom, Cardiff, Sunderland.......they all produced some very entertaining football yesterday As, of course, did Foolham, though that was entertaining for everyone else!!!
