The fabled Hull Welly gig was on the same night they broadcast The Specials first appearance on TOTP's, know quite a few older lads lucky enough to have attended what sounds like one of the best gigs ever held in Hull. Terry Hall and The Specials were icons of a generation, lots of love for him this morning. RIP.

Saw that. Apparently she was very good at keeping his feet on the ground, this is her, talking to someone about Charlie being back from a big US tour.

“‘Charlie came home at the weekend, full of conceit about being a member of the Rolling Stones. So I made him clean the oven.”’
