I'm ok mate, just feel sad for my mum.

Now hiag comes on and tries to be smart.

****, he is

Understandable mate. In fairness, I thought it was the case that he was only trying to raise your spirits and good that he has clarified that. Timing wasn't the best perhaps!

You will have mood swings up to the event but funerals can actually be cathartic.

Say your own goodbye and ignore any ****er that iritates you - if you start feeling the red mist think of your Gran and what she would want you to do most - it's really her day ... nobody else's. <cheers>

Been to too many ... my mother was one of 7 ... only one brother and one sister left and all the spouses passed too ... always wear my darkest suit and a black tie.

Good luck with it all.
I don't own a suit,

this is a right ballache.

The funeral costs are covered and money set aside for that.

****, theirs a lot off planning needed here.

I've seen lots off death mate.

It;'s a horrible thing. I'm not looking for sympathy, just some tips.

I block everything out, same as i have always done, maybe not a good thing.

Hardest one was my cousin last year. We were in the same class at primary school; I was 3 weeks older. She called me just before my op and actually had me laughing. She was a tough cookie and beat breast cancer in her 30s before throat cancer got her in her 50s. Wasn't at all embarrassed about the tears in my eyes at her service ... said my goodbye, blew her a silent kiss and raised a glass in the pub after. Do similar mate - my tip <ok>

Condolences Com, for your nan. Just do what you feels right, that's how most things go. Your local undertaker can help if you feel the pressure of arrangement is too much.

Moss Bros mate. They do quality suits for around £120
