Maybe, just maybe Pochettino and the coaching staff know a bit more about how good our players are and what we need to improve than us? Just a thought guys...
I agree. I probably wouldn't start him there but bringing him on for the last 20 mins against a tiring fullback could, in theory, be an effective tactic.Yep, I fogot Mayuka and Lee too. I'm not sure Mayuka is a wide player though, but as you say, could be used there.

De Ridder can run fast and that's about it, soon as he has the ball his head goes down and he just runs. Already in the few games this season he has had he has missed a easy pass because he looks down all the time. Last season was even worse, we could have easily one a few more games in the last minutes if he looked up.
Could be a threat if he got a run of games. Good luck to him!
Short interview with Ben Reeves here if anyone is interested...
If he's gone to league two on loan at his age, there's really nothing worth taking interest in.If anyone cares enough to want to see the full interview, you can use your saints player login on the blues player as well (and any other club's version too).
I saw a great post on SaintsWeb in regards to De Ridder this morning:

Le Fondre was playing for Rotherham in L2 at the start of last season...

Odemwingie moaning like a little kid and saying WBA approached him illegally when they signed him from Spartak.
