64% didn't vote to leave... That's a fact.
Nor leave so there's another one.
Exactly. No mandate should have meant no change... Let's see what happens... Getting a sense that something will happen to stop this madness.

You talking to yourself?Have you taken tomorrow of work so you can welcome your team home?
It was straight majority of anything more than half so 51% would have sufficed. Leeds voted 50.3% to remain after all to put it in context.
Nothing will change the result so accept it as I would have respected and accepted the result had it been a remain victory, the will of the people no matter how many voted has to be respected.

50% +1 of everyone on the register should be the minimum to trigger a change.
But that should be the same with with general elections. Proportional representation. But if only 45% vote only 45% of seats get filled in proportion with voter wishes.
Agreed mate and it should be a legal requirement to vote.
You are right nothing will change the result we are stuck with it. We can only hope that things will be better for the country, but Boris and Nigel don't fill me with confidence. It was straight majority of anything more than half so 51% would have sufficed. Yes, it has come to the point where the only person sensible enough to talk with is me.
Was actually supposed to be reply to fat paddy.

Time will tell but your great walkout or whatever you want to call it, may not be as clear cut as some imagined. First you'll need some politicians with brains to try implement it and the u turns have already begunHave you been on the moon or the marching powder paddy?!!![]()
Can't be taking any days off glory. Need to keep the economy charging ahead now we no longer have you lot hanging on to our economic purse stringsHave you taken tomorrow of work so you can welcome your team home?

Maybe reason he was subdued is he now realises the jmagnitude of the job that lies ahead and perhaps he really didn't even expect the result he gotBoris is a lovable rogue bless him and a rare thing for people having more time for him than most Tories!!
I lost respect for Cameron who I actually liked, he lost too much crediblity for me during the campaign but at least he's taken responsibility.
It seemed to me the enormity of Cameron resigning and people now looking to Boris as being PM worthy was why he seemed very subdued in his press conference last Friday, he wasn't celebratory in any way and maybe also being friends with Cameron for so many years effected him. No doubt he had some PR/spin advice behind the scenes as well.
