We have the fifth largest economy in the world. 90% of our trade is with the EU. Do you see the problem yet? Ffs smell the ****ing coffee.
Yeah, and 80% of that is what Britain buys from the rest of Europe, Britain manufactures **** all thanks to Thatcher the ****ing dead Witch, its a service industry, do you really believe the EU won't do business because of the divorce, give your head a shake mate

They can buy the services in the EU just as easily though OLOF, and the krauts are already punting Frankfurt as the new financial centre to replace London.

Agree about Thatcher, though if she was still alive she'd have fronted the leave campaign.

Can't have it both ways.

I don't think The Germans, French or any other mainland European country have ordered the services of a plumber, Sparky or a Chinese takeaway from the UK Davy, they've probably got a few over there:emoticon-0100-smile
What i'm saying is Britain manufactures hardly anything because of Thatcher and successive Governments and the rest of Europe needed the UK more than the UK needed them
Thatcher was an avid pro common market campaigner, although i'd give you that she probably would have been a Brexiter, i'm just glad the old **** is rotting in hell with her old man

It's been previously quoted as around about 60% but we're not allowed to trade elsewhere without EU consent, do you see the problem ffs?! <doh>

Smaller countries telling us what to do that we bankroll in the first place. <doh>

Like it or not 60-70% of the wealth of the country comes from providing financial services. It doesn't statistically employ many people but it does create a lot of cash. HSBC have already said they are off if we leave the single market.

Why should you care?............. Because much f the money paying for chippies, sparks and brick shufflers comes from the above. That recession that you call project fear is coming and even if the exiteers accept its a direct result of coming out it will be too late.

Yeah we can now trade with countries far away and with little money that we have no markets with but they have markets already set up. Can you see a problem.

Clue: lots of trade with comparatively rich neighbours versus a possible chance to win trade with poorer countries at the other side of the world. One sure and certainty, we won't have the 5th biggest economy in the world in ten years time. We won't be in the top ten.

We'll be fine mate in time as countries will be busting their bollox to trade with us as the world is a big place, you'll see.

India, China, the big commonwealth players & other EU countries will be biting our hands off once we've no EU bullshit red tape, bureaucracy to deal worry about.

Open your eyes you can already see it.
The French are about to open their border. All that ****e in the jungle is coming to Dover in the next eight weeks. These are the immigrants that we really needed to keep out.

Exactly but I ain't up to speed on that news, only been hearing bits & pieces over time of possibilities as it goes on forever.

Last I saw on the news was the big pro-immigrant march in London a few weeks back, the one in Dover was stopped by our police as French OB refused them entry into France to bring the **** back with them.
