Best thing about living in flats, no one comes knocking on door at Halloween.

Is sitting in the car cool nowadays? <whistle>

Temperature was close to 20C when we started trick or treating last night (dropped quite a bit over the night though). Not too incredibly hot, but for some of the fat lumps around here, too hot to be walking in outside of their air-conditioned vehicles.

Kids were complaining their costumes were too hot.

We just leave a bowl of sweets at the bottom of our driveway with a sign saying "help yourself to a couple" whilst we go out with our kids.

First year my wife suggested this I was skeptical and told her there is no chance it will last more than 15 mins.

Each year we get back though and the bowl is still half full. Always surprises me.

its parents teaching kids... i'd hope. its an ideal opportunity for any parent to give a good or bad example.
