We can dream can't we? Many said that about Huddlestone and Livermore! Granted Welbeck is a better prospect/higher calibre, but we are a much more reputable club compared to last year.
Hes good friends with Meyler from Sunderland days, Chester, Brady, Dudgeon will also know him from Man U youth academy. Hopefully small things like this will work in our favour
I can't see us even being able to match his wage demands, can't see there being much chance of this one.
Had this being deadline day with 8 or so hours to go then this could have a small chance of happening. But the fact that there is no pressure on Man United means we would be pipped to the post anyway.

This would be our most exciting signing ever, but I'm afraid I don't think we've got a prayer of getting him.
£12m is a great price, but you just don't sell you best striker on the eve of some winnable opening PL games.
