Erm yeah, me and I was taking the piss out of Doveston when he demanded a link to something that's not in the public domain yet.

A lot of the flak is unfair, we didn't want him, myself included, it was a wrong move, we needed pace and we had doubts as he is a die-hard Mag.

He'll never be accepted by the majority at SAFC, fairly or unfairly, and as such a move is his best option.

He IS a proven Premier league player, he scored 20 in about 60 for Swans in the big league, that's not bad, considering as well that many of his games for Swans were off the bench.

I just need someone else to clarify for me, was it Doveston before who took us planning to make "several signings" as meaning we were going to bring in 7 players, not 6, not 8, definitely 7 signings?

For newbies and Sunderland fans, I wouldn't worry about explaining anything to Doveston, he'll call you a soft **** a few times and then disappear for a few months again.

From what I watched last season, a good few games, you played some really tidy high tempo stuff, and missed a ****-load of chances.

Now, you now tell me these strikers are gonna rock the foundations of the Premier League?

aluko was a our top scorer before he got injured........for the season
fryatt was injured for most of .............the season
the prozzie will get more time and space on the ball in the prem next year................for the season. is this who graham is replacing?

Probs about 6-7 times.

Was impressed in the main, backed you quite heavily for promotion, had a vested interest due to Bruce, Elmo, later Meyler, and a good pal who is Hull daft.

I don't watch the FLS, as my team is in the Premier League, and I work Saturday nights.

Calling people a '****' on a forum for giving opinion shopws me that on a forum full of welcoming, decent, and clearly passionate lads, I've managed to find the village ****wit.

I think Aluko will score a few, he was our top scorer up until late in the season and he missed 6 months of it! Ignore the idiots on this board.

I watched your game away to Bristol City (you reading ****wit boy??) and I was very impressed with Aluko, he and Elmo seemed to have a good link up going, scored a really smart goal following a nice little give and go.

Some do make the step up, we had Phillips, never played in the Prem and hit 30, so I know it can happen mate.

I think out of our team, the ones most likely to make the step up and stay there should we come down are Brady, Aluko and Chester. They are by far the best of the current team being promoted.
