For sure, it's like wanting Rafa out - to be replaced by what? A rotting carcass? A bin? Or worse, Curbishley?

The troubling thing is we're going down. I don't see a scenario where Ashley sells when we're relegated.

Harder and harder to see a way out of this mess.

So we have refused to sell Mitrovic to West Brom who have then gone and got Sturridge who we wanted and we are left with Mitrovic. That could have panned out better.

Sturridge would have done an Owen. Turned up, got injured, sat on the bench earning thousands.

    We're not missing out.

However, this move says to me we are scraping the olllllld barrel...

That barrel must be wafer thin after 10 years of constant scraping.

We'll be playing the barrel up front pretty soon the way things are going.

I actually did go to Hookergate. Am I correct in thinking no-one else here actually did and are just trading on the funny name?

It's a sad sign of the times when West Bromwich Albion becomes a more attractive option than Newcastle United.

Ah well, there's always next seasons promotion campaign to look forward to.

Relegation battle, more like. We could easily emulate our six fingered neighbours next season.

    Quite possible I suppose.

The couple of quality players we have will be sold following another relegation.

Then the world will be at an end!

It would probably be quite difficult to be honest. We could cerainly struggle more than the last time, although there would be plenty of money in the bank to spend again and repeat the cycle. Ashley wants to be shot with ****e the ****.

It’s official Rafa is less of a pull than Pardew <laugh>

If his big name ain’t worth ****, he ain’t gonna survive on his performance.

If in doubt, always blame the silver fox.
