Clearly a quality player and barring injuries or a sudden drop off in development he'll be a Premier League player one day, hopefully with us.

You have to question those that think hes got nowt like.

It was ever thus.

As a youngster, I would listen to 'the Adults' discussing our players.
One in particular definitely had a cup that had gone from half empty to very empty.
For example---

SHACK.
No Raich Carter. Messes about too much. No ggd to The Team.
BINGHAM
Keeps trying to beat too many Men.
Then later on,
HURLEY
Never seen the like. What sort of Centre Half dribbles when he should just clear the ball upfield. Rubbish.

I learned through experience that this type are, unfortunately, far from rare.
Even worse, I regularly seem to get stuck near one of them when I'm lucky enough to get to a game.

Great post mate. I remember when Chris Turner came and the older generation I went with all thought he was small and lightweight. I just thought he made great saves and loved him.

Be good to get him tied down even more. Also just means any fees that are going to come in will have to be super high.

Agree totally. There might be some among our flock who don't rate him, but there will be plenty elsewhere who do, and will back their opinion with hard cash.

I reckon if / when we sell him he will be our biggest ever incoming fee. If he stays here for another couple of seasons he will sign for a top 6 premier league team in my opinion anyway.
