We are indeed and not all of our members are going to always agree with everything we do, I wouldn't say that was double standards, as the saying goes, you can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.

Point I was trying to make is that DMD obviously is not aware that Ctwd have appointed leaders "CTWD are there to represent fans, they're not leaders, they're spokes people."

Nope, they're not leaders in the sense a leader would dictate, which is what you're trying to imply. They take the lead on issues raised by fans, so in that respect, they are in deed, spokes people.

To push the point further, the CTWD committee are the representatives of their members.

If other supporters don't agree with their stance they could always join the group, attend meetings, put themselves forward for a place on the committee & attempt to influence the direction of the group.

CTWD are not there to represent their fans at all, but I wouldn't criticise people for disagreeing with them, my critisism is of people dilsiking the full package over one solitary issue.

That's not hypocrisy or double standards at all.

So they are in your mind there to represent all fans?
You say in one sentence that they do not have leaders but OLM then says "We are indeed" and whilst I agree with him that some Ctwd members/supporters/fringe member/troublemakers will not agree with everything they do, there are some obvious troublemakers that are bringing Ctwd down and that the leadership needs to be clearer on certain things that are done in their name.
I use the example of them putting out a press release saying fans should not boo other fans, however in my and other peoples eyes they should also have said let's stop singing at 19.04 as it is clearly seen as a protest against Allam these days.double standards or not?

I took OLM's reply to be to the other part of your question. Looks like others have confirmed what I put too.

Nope, CTWD don't represent ALL fans, they represent the wishes of CTWD members.

I've no idea if you're talking about posters on here when you talk of CTWD members. How have you decided they're members, and not just individuals with similar views?

If you feel the press release was wrong, join and voice your view to them. I don't see it as double standards. Why should they suggest a song supporting Hull City not be sung by Hull City fans at a Hull City match in Hull City's ground, for fear of some others in the ground being silly enough to boo Hull City fans?

Also, the chant is not done in CTWD's name. CTWD ceased campaigning when the FA rejected the name change.

No it isn't double standards . You think CTWD should have told fans not to sing ?

NAh it'd all be democratic.

Join the group, put forward your arguments for the name change to the group. The majority will show support as that's what the majority really want.

No need for the unpleasantness of a crudely organised ku de ta at all.

To be democratic, we'd have to insist that it's one poster one vote, rather than one user name one vote. <ok>

You don't believe that CTWD represent all fans, but you think they should tell everyone in a football stadium what to sing?

Now that really is double standards.

They were elected according to (OLM I think made the point) therefore they are not dictators as they were elected by their members. You yet again are trying to twist comments on here to suit your own argument, I never even mentioned dictator, in fact my comments were quite clear in that Ctwd could have gone further in the healing process by asking their supporters not to sing at 19.04, instead they chose not to which is turning people away from their aims.

I'm not twisiting your words, I'm trying hard to untangle them.

People were elected to represent the views of members. What would you call them if not spokespeople? If they're representing themselves, then they're dictators as that's not what the members elected them to do.

Only at 19.04 as it is seen as a protest song at that time, any other time it would get the others joining in hopefully.

It was booed at the kick off last week, so that's obviously not true.

More people sing City Till I Die than CTWD have members, so it's obviously not just our members singing it and we spoke to those who initiate the chants and they made it clear they were not going to stop until AA stopped with all his name change nonsense, whatever we announced.

A little realism is required, we are not school teachers in a classroom, there are thousands who are pissed off with what's going on and not sitting around waiting for us to tell them what to do. All we can do is appeal for what we believe is best for the club and hope that people take it on board, expecting that we can control the actions of thousands of individuals is completely unrealistic.

A lot of realism says it would have been nice to try though.
