Archer's drawing blood now. The man's lethal.
Careys head is swelling up like anything now. Pains me as mostly a footy fan to say it but imagine if somebody like Neymar had got a similar injury, would be 4 minutes flat out on the deck and then stretchered off! Shaping up to be more of a match than it looked like at a start but England got to be clear favourites now.

Even the women's footballers aren't as big prima donnas as people like Neymar, even when they actually get hurt.

Fair ****s to Carey to continue playing well afterward with his face in that state, and getting a decent innings out of it as well.

3 wickets for Rashid. And that Archer is one seriously good bowler. Just Smith standing between us and bowling the Aussies out for a low score.

Scratch that.

223 the target - that's definitely beatable, but knowing us we'll be all out for 100. Nowhere near over yet.

Without Smith they would've been nowhere near 200, he was the difference, his partnership with Carey really helped them when they needed it most.

Still expecting us to fold... :bandit:

Can't help but be a pessimist. Makes it easier to accept disappointment and makes success even better.
