I agree totally but he hasn't been any good with the bat either in this series. We all know about the injury.
I honestly think this whole series we have been in a half hearted Bazball mode. It hasn't been total Bazball like we have witnessed over the last 18 months. Yes respect the Aussies but I think we have respected them too much.
Just my opinion like.

Bairstow scored a run a ball 78 in the first innings at Edgbaston.

As for " total Bazball". Last summer, the same player took fifty minutes over eight runs while he saw off a difficult spell. Stokes did the same in one game. As did Pope and others. The idea is not, and never was to just blaze away, that's not how they played

My personal opinion is that we have been half hearted Bazball this series. It's just my opinion.
 
Should be pitching up to Head here. Not a night for bounceaball whackaball cricket.

I think they have got the balance wrong a bit at times. Some crazy shots that weren't on but this is a much better bowling attack than the others of the last year.

As in football, you can't always play exactly the way you want to play.
