Yeah that's right. He should have walked though but maybe honesty isnt a thing in cricket anymore. I'm old school and if I know I've edged it I'm walking before the umpire shoots his finger up.
It isn’t! I’m old school too. You hit, you walk. But maybe I feel different against people like Steve smith! His cheating goes even further. Been given not out by an umpire when I bat padded and he said “outside the line”. I didn’t even realise the fielder caught it but, back then, you accepted it. He said “I caught that” and I walked. It was how it used to be
Beat me to that one! A few wrong already and we are only halfway through the first day.
Although Ben Foakes is no real slouch with bat, this is why Bairstow got the nod over him

Ideally we would have liked 400+ but at this stage I can see us 375 all out by the close.
Interesting to see if the pitch gets any faster tomorrow/Sunday and whether Jimmy/Broad have a plan for Smith and mini-Smith
So many overs left in the day. They should play on past 6.30pm if the conditions are good enough. Too often we are getting short-changed with slow over rates
