Player of the match? As it is mens cricket, why isn’t it man of the match? Although they don’t call it mens cricket. They just call it cricket. I don’t get it? Is it because some of the men may want to identify as something else? We’ll, might some of the women want to identify as something else? Which makes “women’s cricket” surely discriminatory?

****ed if I know. Well done “lads” or should that be players?

"Ha'way the non gender specific entities"

Can't see it catching on

Sunday will be a tough game. Pakistan are like Wycombe Wanderers - not a classically talented team, but they find a way to win. Won't be easy

Agree mate. They're up with all the legal cheating going. Against NZ,every time they threw the ball in,it never went to hand....always into the dirt to scuff the ball.....perfectly legal! They have a good bowling attack.......we'll have to be at our best.

40 years ago we played Pakistan in Australia in the 50 overs version where I listened to it on the radio and Pakistan came out on top. Here's hoping we can turn the tables this time
Remember listening to that in Geography GCSE class. The teacher knew I was listening, but he was a massive cricket fan so said nothing as long as I kept him up with the score. Was gutted that day, especially as we would have knocked Pakistan out at the group stages had it not rained in Adelaide
