Think Bairstow is a cracking keeper, but that out with Ben Foakes

 

Suppose that's the sacrifice - no way Foakes would have scored the runs JB scored in the way he scored them. Something has to give I guess

 

Yeah true. Foakes us a decent batsman (yes, that’s what I called him as the term “batter” still feels wrong to me! ) but not as good a Jonny. Best WK in the world in my opinion

I love these sessions in the cricket where it's pure attritional with no one team on top. You know you are a wicket away from getting into the lower order, but conversely they can smash 60 from 8 overs and put you under pressure.
Feels like The Aussies have been very un-Australian in their defensive approach thus far

Yeah they’ve had some luck! Brook was a ton plus easily without “that” happening. Looked about as untroubled as Kawaja.
