Yes, especially the initial stages. It's always good to be one of the first crews to go in. Warwickshire FS might have changed their policy on this since the tragedy in Atherstone-on-Stour. They probably don't commit crews unless there's a confirmed life risk.

I was thinking about that fire in Atherstone too, that was huge round here. Got really messy between the families of those who died and the fire service and FBU.

Looked out live, although I thought it might be 'umpire's call'.
    Glad he gave it out.

Anderson back on the field to resume hostilities with Kholi.
Anderson looks as though he may have a niggle though.

New ball soon, but hats off to the Indian batsmen, 200-2.

Still more than enough time and runs for an easy England win…….

So, bad light stops play with India, in effect, minus 139 for 2, with Pujara looking very solid on 91 and Kholi looking ominously more like his old self on 45.
The new ball tomorrow morning is absolutely vital.
If India survive it with these two in place they could well bat all day tomorrow, which would open the match right up.

Perfect start for England this morning.
Also congratulations to Kent on their T20 bash win over Birmingham last night, finals day is 4 southern teams this year.

On my way to Rangers now, but saw Robinson get Kohli just before I left. I kind of wanted India to leave England something to get on day five.

Had to help the fragrant Mrs Rangercol to set up a stall in our village's yearly village show.
    Have I missed much? <doh>

I know mate, I was being ironically sarcastic.

    All over.
At least I saw the last 3.

    Brilliant from England.

Shame for the Saturday crowd that it's all over.

Brilliant from England today. How the **** did we get it so wrong at Lord's?

Nicely set up for the Oval now, though. I'll be there on Friday.

    4th Test Day 1.......

    England win toss and bowl......

For the first half hour the ball has barely deviated off line despite ideal conditions, but now the break through 28/1

    Andy Zaltzman

Cricket statistician on BBC Test Match Special

We talked of it being a morning of two halves. The first seven overs were 28-0 but the next seven overs were 0-2.

    Currently 34/2.......
