The leader of NCL Labour council has just been on the bbc to blame the government saying NCL will be in tier 4 because of them for ages.

No you leftie twat, NCL will be in tier 4 because your council continues to let pubs sell beer to hundreds of folk To drink around the city centre as a ‘takeaway’ and also people just can’t help themselves mingling still.

it’s not rocket science... stay the **** away from each other and Covid cases drop.

ban the takeaway of booze or consumption of booze in the city centre and the Covid cases drop. (Apparently places like Tynemouth were also rammed these last few days with drinkers getting hammered on the streets in large groups too). So it’s not just the NCL council clowns who need to take action.
It can’t be rocket science if even Chippy understands it.

Totally agree that this is down to people not following the rules and the rules not being strict enough, but the highlighted bit is government policy not local councils

People need to take personal responsibility. Not everything is the Governments fault, no matter how incompetent they are.

Blame culture is the new norm. If you didn't follow the rules, you are responsible for us going into tier 4.

The rules not being strict enough is, for me, a cop out.

Everyone knows or should know by now what is required to defeat the virus. To try and blame the Government for not setting strict enough rules is just an excuse to divert responsibility from those who are really to blame namely the selfish and thoughtless idiots who bleat on about their “rights” whilst happily ignoring that all “rights” come with t’s and c’s.

It's not about blame. The government has had to balance restricting the virus against keeping the economy running. Any government would have struggled. however, mistakes have been made - some of which they admit and others which they don't. We need to get away from the whole idea of needing to attach blame to every mistake and give people the opportunity to hold their hands up, apologise and learn from mistakes.

None of that takes away from the personal responsibility of the idiots who blatantly ignore the rules and guidance and just prolong the need for government action, while contributing to the spread of the virus and ultimately deaths.

Shouldn’t local councils take the lead on enforcement? Or at the very least shout about it to the government? These Labour councils cry like little bitches that they don’t have many powers yet don’t help themselves when **** goes down on their door steps.

****s swarming round the monument and their ilk are the reason businesses are going pop left right and centre.

I really hate the people In this country at times and what society has become.
