Totally agree that this is down to people not following the rules and the rules not being strict enough, but the highlighted bit is government policy not local councils
People need to take personal responsibility. Not everything is the Governments fault, no matter how incompetent they are. Blame culture is the new norm. If you didn't follow the rules, you are responsible for us going into tier 4.
The rules not being strict enough is, for me, a cop out. Everyone knows or should know by now what is required to defeat the virus. To try and blame the Government for not setting strict enough rules is just an excuse to divert responsibility from those who are really to blame namely the selfish and thoughtless idiots who bleat on about their “rights” whilst happily ignoring that all “rights” come with t’s and c’s.
Good thing about France is that the chavs don't realise just how amazing the South is. Lovely country.
I’ve usually just driven through Normandy as always seemed a bit flat for me but Brittany is a beautiful area. Have stopped there a few times and has some amazingly scenic places.
It's not about blame. The government has had to balance restricting the virus against keeping the economy running. Any government would have struggled. however, mistakes have been made - some of which they admit and others which they don't. We need to get away from the whole idea of needing to attach blame to every mistake and give people the opportunity to hold their hands up, apologise and learn from mistakes. None of that takes away from the personal responsibility of the idiots who blatantly ignore the rules and guidance and just prolong the need for government action, while contributing to the spread of the virus and ultimately deaths.
Shouldn’t local councils take the lead on enforcement? Or at the very least shout about it to the government? These Labour councils cry like little bitches that they don’t have many powers yet don’t help themselves when **** goes down on their door steps. ****s swarming round the monument and their ilk are the reason businesses are going pop left right and centre. I really hate the people In this country at times and what society has become.
