The whole 4 in a million stuff adds everyone together. It must be commoner in under 30s for the advisory removal from that group.

The only thing I've read is that most of the clots occurred in women under the age of 60 within two weeks of vaccination. No increased risk was observed among older individuals.
I'm guessing that because the incidents are rising as the recipients are getting younger, they maybe feel that they don't want to risk the clotting issues being actually linked to age.
There is a problem with the public’s understanding of risk. It’s always been very tricky for the government and various authorities of putting it across.

the more they are headed for the cool kids the faster they are finding the issue. Most states around the globe tried to go for the older first.
the scary thing is if adverse effects require self reporting then how many old folks had a stroke etc and were never reported.
If this was the only vaccine people would just have to think if its better to risk it or get covid but i think its a false narrative to ignore the other vaccines and push the hell out of AZ
the reason for younger people being offered alternatives to AZ is because the risk / reward equation swings in favour of having covid rather than a cerebral clot .
That is a fair point, it is rather a diminishing return if they simply don't turn up
I don't think there is a problem with the public's understanding of risk. I think people would rather choose a vaccine with less risk even if only a couple of cases had been linked with clots. So far the risk is minimal but as with the virus itself, nobody knows how they personally will react to it. The odds are greatly in favour of no ( or very little) adverse effects but people have still avoided scenarios that put them at risk, in the case of contracting the virus (whether enforced or not, people have still feared it) and will likely be more wary of taking the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The government obviously feels the need to look at options so they too are trying to understand the risks and act accordingly.

Yeah there was a chart I saw. Every 100,000 based on icu admissions and serious harm due to vaccine.
Benefits for 20-29 was 0.8 where as harm was 1.1
30-39 benefits 2.7 harm is 0.8
40-49 benefits 5.7 harm 0.5
50-59 benefit 10.5 harm 0.4
60-69 benefit 14.1 harm 0.2
So harm outweighs benefit for lowest age group, not too bad for 30s abs absolutely fine for older population.

Not turned into a giant blood clot, yet. Feel great so far, expect less headache/immune system response as its the second dose.
I have however wanted to buy more microsoft products and services....not sure if they are linked to side effects?

Certainly wasn't the case for the mrs (nm) but she had Phizer; she was completely out of action for three days after her second jab. She said it felt like flu but rather than aching everywhere, it hurt.
Feeling great today ta. My arm is very slightly tender where it went in but otherwise nothing else so very happy about that and now feeling invincible. Was apprehensive because of how I felt after the first but no need to be.
The nurse who did it was brilliant, an older lady who said she’d been injecting people for nearly 50 years and you could tell her experience from how she handled everything. Just a really nice person. I even got a citrus Oasis, a bottle of water and some biscuits after. She said I could’ve had a sticker they give to kids too but they’d run out
Something interesting she asked when I told her about my side effects was if I knew I’d had or thought I might have had Covid, seemed like she was implying if you’ve had it you might get more of an adverse reaction. They obviously inject a lot of people so must know the deal, even if they can’t say or it hasn’t been researched properly. But who knows. She said a very small amount of people are getting the bad reaction after the second having been fine with the first, but that most people aren’t getting any problems from the second one.
Feeling good yep. Certainly seems the first one is the problem one if you’re going to have any.
