Theres no capacity with moderna. Its pfizer or az. Johnson seems bloody worse than az for issues so....

In the end theres a limit to effectiveness so it's about completing the thing before we all have to start again in September

Moderna has been rolled out in England but only 17m doses ordered I think. There's talk of 2 more vaccines coming soon as well.

look like boris wants to peddle a line that all vaccines are effective against all strains.

we are seeing rapid spike now with the Indian variant.

Vaccine all booked in. Bit confusing as couldn’t book the second at the same place as the first so had to find a new location for second, couldn’t just book 1 then book second at a later date.

How did you book it mate?
I booked mine on line and it automatically gave me same day same time 12 weeks into the future for the second dose.

    nhs website.
apparently was no slots available at same location so forced me to rebook somewhere else.

tbh second one is only 4 miles from me compared to 19 so not complaining too much just wasn’t very clear lol

Ahh right, mine was at the Etihad campus and it's doing thousands per day.
Booked the first for 7.30 pm on a Sunday night (had a massive choice of other times/dates) expected to turn up at an empty venue but there were at least 400 there <laugh>
Still only took 15 mins from parking to getting back in the car though <ok>

You'll pleased to know I've finally had my 1st jab.

Letter came on Saturday, jabbed today.

Too young for AZ though. Had Pfizer.

must be similar age to me in that case.

im assuming I won’t get the AZ so will get Pfizer or moderna. Do you get told beforehand as the email and text confirmation I got from nhs didn’t mention anything.
