. Bones of our arse...Supported by anyone who wants a jobLots of evidence piling up that masks can put non infected people more at risk of infection. (UK data shows increases in cases in all but one place that had mask mandates) Spain's first mask mandate preceded a huge rise in cases
Pick up the virus on a surface in a public space or transport. Touch your moist mask to give the COVID the perfect breeding ground and a direct path to your respiratory system, as in into your nose and mouth and into your throat and lungs.
When mask mandates are in play and almost everyone's got one on, and the social distancing, and even lock downs, and cases start incrementally increasing, it's not plausible that masks increase droplet driven infection spread.
The big dip in cases in summer, was because of summer, clear skies and sunlight was a mass disinfectant of shared public spaces and surfaces as well as people's clothes hands and faces.
The drop during the summer months had nothing to do with lockdowns and masks

I wore a mask for two days... and I'm sick today
I've been fine all year.
Might be onto something.
Cotton single layer masks or worse, knitted ones dont even stop the aerosols and create a disgusting breeding ground for bacteria
