So restaurants are allowed to stay open and serve alcohol then? Lots of converts incoming lol.

Yup, that's what the professor of medicine was highlighting when being interviewed, which gave him concern. He also said we should have been at these new rules several weeks back.

We’ve got more people in hospital with it now than we had on March 23rd,

Them chatting bubbles about the Nightingales again ffs, yeah the ones you can’t staff you daft ****s, them.

Good business opportunity to set up supply of medical staff, afterall how difficult is it to put a tube down someones throat and plug a machine in. <whistle>

Not sure you or I or anyone else with at least enough interest to contribute to a thread like this is the target audience. It’ll sound to Stacey and Tracey in Scunthorpe like they know what they’re doing.

Professor of medicine worried that pubs might start to claim a change to restaurants, he said they must be prevented from doing that, unless they operate in the same manner....ie table service.

And he said about the young who thinks this virus does not affect them in the same way as the elderly, he's reminding them, that the virus can have long term affects on their health for some young people that catch it. @luvgonzo to confirm.
I still have a cough, does that count?

Third highest hospital admissions in Europe, at 17%, once it reaches 20%, the hospitals will no longer cope with the day to day running.

Things not looking good across the country tbh...looks like it is gonna be a bumpy few weeks for a **** load of people.

Seeing the reaction on facebook from people back home is a bit like this

"Well, of course no one can go to the pub, I don't go to the pub anyway so that doesn't affect me really. But... wait, rule 4... wait I can't do THAT?! But I love THAT! **** BOJO AND **** COVID!! I'M DOING IT ANYWAY!!!"

Pretty much sums up why the UK is ****ed.

People are purely nodding to restrictions to look good until the exact moment anything at all affects them personally, then it can get to ****.
