Things not looking good across the country tbh...looks like it is gonna be a bumpy few weeks for a **** load of people.

 

I thought I saw some months back, that when scans were done of people's lungs, there was evidence of damage, which might not affect you now, but could in later life?

 

Think that's still the one big unknown in all of this. Probably won't know for years.

 

Seeing the reaction on facebook from people back home is a bit like this

"Well, of course no one can go to the pub, I don't go to the pub anyway so that doesn't affect me really. But... wait, rule 4... wait I can't do THAT?! But I love THAT! **** BOJO AND **** COVID!! I'M DOING IT ANYWAY!!!"

Pretty much sums up why the UK is ****ed.

People are purely nodding to restrictions to look good until the exact moment anything at all affects them personally, then it can get to ****.

 

After Spanish flu there were increased incidents of Parkinsons Disease and there are concerns that the same may happen after Covid-19

I have a lung desease anyway so they are already ****ed.

 

My mate, who had Covid back in March, has just been diagnosed with Parkinson’s. The doctors don’t know if it’s related. He’s 71, for what that’s worth, and hopefully symptoms will progress slowly.
