I don't know why people have to fall into these worm holes. If I was chatting about people control, my views would be chatting about stuff that happens in Belarus for example, or North Korea, even America when they turn their homeguard on their own people. Real life stuff, not fantasy.

The internet mainly.

Some folk have literally dismissed mainstream news sources like BBC, CNN, Reuters etc as spreading propaganda, yet have replaced these sources of news/info with paranoid right wing conspiracy websites.

Also, the algorithms the internet uses, amplifies and funnels more and more of this stuff into people's news feeds etc and they end up in the echo chamber of confirmation bias and are literally bombarded with this ****, to the point where they don't even see mainstream news, unless it's through the filter of it being 'lies and propaganda'

Again, the irony of being told that you're gullible for believing the mainstream news is quite staggering.

That image, which I’m sure you recognise from being on the Yankee Dollar, is also a Masonic symbol (the Eye of Cheops). Halfway to a conspiracy theory right there; you’ve got Freemasons, The Pyramids (which were of course built by aliens), and the US Federal reserve as a free hit to get the nutters started.

I think a lot of information about us is already used by existing government organisations, law enforcement, councils and corporate businesses, all for legitimate if questionable purposes, not really sure we need a secret bunch of fantasies as well <laugh>

And like you say, there's a genuine debate to be had about data protection, surveillance etc. Especially for me, when it's in the hands of private companies.

But when it's lumped in with Bill Gates wanting to microchip the population and unleash a vaccine that will kill people off to reduce the world population, then any reasonable debate just goes straight out of the window.

I've seen it with my own eyes amongst friends of mine. People that hold liberal, inclusive left leaning views, literally trying to tell me that Trump has been sent to expose the secret deep state, and will use the military to round up and arrest these people and have them tried at Guantanamo bay.

They have literally been brainwashed by this ****.

As I said, the idea that Govt's around the world also simultaneously run a secret collaborative shadow world govt is ludicrous. They can't even sort the basics out, let alone operate a parallel secret govt.

They see the chaos that this Tory Govt are overseeing with Covid as a deliberate, well orchestrated plan. When the reality is that it is just incompetence and ministers making up policy on the hoof.
